Gamblers try luck for new year

More than 50 gamblers trying their luck at baccarat at a courtyard on Fuhua
Road in the Fengtai District have been caught by police, reports Beijing
Television News.
Some gamblers hailed from as far as East China's Shandong, Southwest China's
Yunnan Province and North China's Tianjin Municipality; the common aim was to
"make money" and go back to thier hometowns to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New
Year holiday.
Many gambling appliances and some cash were also
confiscated.
