Ultraviolet lights have been installed in more than 200 local cabs in an effort by Shanghai Jinjiang Taxi Company to prevent epidemics, Youth Daily reports.

The equipment can kill 92.32 per cent of viruses inside the car in 45 minutes; and more taxies will be similarly equipped in the coming months.
