Chelsea and Blackburn charged over scuffles
Premier League leaders Chelsea and Blackburn Rovers have been charged by the FA with failing to control their players following a number of scuffles during Wednesday's match at Ewood Park.
A bad-tempered second half degenerated into a running battle between hot-headed Rovers striker Paul Dickov and Chelsea skipper John Terry, with ugly scuffles littering the closing stages. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho summed up the prickly encounter by saying: "It wasn't a good game of football, it was a fight". The FA said on Friday that Chelsea and Blackburn had until February 21 to respond to the charge.
