Chinese shuttlers show their dominance as they swept four gold medals out of five at the week-long All England Open Badminton Championship in Birmingham, England.

In an all-Chinese men's single final, fourth-seeded Chen Hong edged out the defending champion Lin Dan through a cliff-hanging duel.

Lin Dan showed his good fitness as he clinched the opener with 15-8, but his dauntless team-mate didn't give up. Chen Hong, the champion of the year 2002, picked up his form later, making it to come back and grabbing the final victory in 71 minutes.

In men's doubles competition, Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng put up a perfect performance, holding off former world champion pair, Danish Jonas Rasmussen and Lars Paaske in straight sets. It's their first win over the Nordic in two years.

In addition, Chinese players have taken all final seats in women's single and doubles events.
