The Chinese Football Association has named the following 27-man squad for next month's friendly international games against Costa Rica.

The CFA said head coach Zhu Guanghu will call up overseas-based players at a later time.

The matches, to be played at the Helong Stadium in Changsha on June 19 and 22, will be the two team's first meeting since China lost 2-0 to Costa Rica in a group match of the 2002 World Cup finals.

The Chinese national team will gather from May 30 to June 23 for a training camp in Xianghe training ground in north China's Hebei province.

Squad:

Goalkeepers: Liu Yunfei, Li Leilei, Li Jian, Sun Shoubo

Defenders: Wei Xin, Xu Yunlong, Du Wei, Sun Xiang, Zhang Yaokun, Li Yan, Li Weifeng, Zhang Yonghai, Wang Liang

Midfielders: Ji Mingyi, Zheng Bin, Yang Pu, Zhao Junzhe, Li Xiaopeng, Zheng Zhi, Jiao Zhe, Chen Yongqiang

Forwards: Zhang Shuo, Xie Hui, Li Jinyu, Li Yi, Zou Jie, Wang Xinxin
