Arsenal slap £50M on Barcelona target Henry
Arsenal have slapped a £50 million price-tag on star striker Thierry Henry to ward off interest from Barcelona.
Barca president has had two bids rejected by the Gunners in the past week for the French international, which led to manager Arsene Wenger stating that he "would not sell" any of his top players this summer. Laporta's first offer was for £18 million, which was rejected immediately by Arsenal. A second bid worth £28 million was also dismissed. Sources close to Arsenal have informed AS that the London giants will not consider selling Henry for anything less than £50 million. That price is too rich for Barca - unless they first choose to sell.
