A visitor is overwhelmed by an exhibition
focussing on the Nanjing Massacre at China's National Museum August 10,
2005. The exhibition, free to visitors, commemorates China's victory in
the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression as part of the 60th
anniversary of the end of World War II. Japanese invading troops occupied
Nanjing on December 13, 1937, and launched a six-week massacre, killing
more than 300,000 Chinese people, most of them civilians.
