After another basket by Deng, Parker hit two free throws to put the Spurs ahead 91-89 with 1:03 left in regulation.

Parker missed a runner along the right baseline, and the Bulls grabbed the rebound and called time with 24.2 remaining. A driving Hinrich threw up a wild shot, but the ball caromed out of bounds off a Spur.

Gordon struck again.

This time, he came off a double screen from Deng and Chandler, lost Parker, caught the inbounds and buried an 18-footer from the right wing to tie it at 91 with 16.2 seconds left in regulation.

After a timeout, Ginobili caught the inbound and let about 10 seconds tick away before driving right. He missed, and the game went to overtime.

Wade doing everything he can for the Heat

Dwyane Wade is trying to do everything he can to help the Miami Heat win without Shaquille O'Neal.

Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade, left, who scored 23 points, is guarded by New Jersey Nets' Vince Carter, who scored 32 points, Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, in Miami. The Heat won 90-89.

Wade made a free throw with 5.2 seconds left and blocked a potential winning layup at the buzzer to give the Heat a 90-89 win over the New Jersey Nets on Monday night.

"It was just a very good win," Heat coach Stan Van Gundy said. "We need everything we can get right now."

Miami used a seven-man rotation and improved to 1-1 without the injured O'Neal, who's expected to miss two to four weeks with a sprained ankle.
