Jones and Bell were brought in to replace the losses of Joe Johnson and Quentin Richardson, who were traded in the offseason. The Suns don't seem to have lost anything lately, averaging 113.3 points in their last four games.

They've just a done a nice job of plugging in players," Portland coach Nate McMillan said. "They lost some great players last year to free agency and trades. Then you bring in a Jones and a Raja Bell, and they fit right in to what these guys are doing."

In other games, it was: Dallas 84, Indiana 75; the Los Angeles Lakers 111, Milwaukee 92; Washington 119, Toronto 111 in overtime; Memphis 89, New Orleans 73; Houston 91, Boston 73; Denver 125, Atlanta 116; New York 104, Seattle 101; and Cleveland 102, Sacramento 97.

At Phoenix, Shawn Marion added 21 points for the Suns. Steve Nash had 14 points and 12 assists, Kurt Thomas added 12 points and 13 rebounds, Boris Diaw finished with a career-best 13 assists, and Pat Burke had a season-high 12 points.

The Suns set a season high for points and margin of victory, and the 45-point margin of victory was the Suns' second-largest at America West Arena, behind a 46-point victory over the Clippers in 2000. Using the 3-point shot as effectively as it did last season, Phoenix went 16-of-32 from behind the arc.

"I think they shot the ball as well as I have seen a team shoot in a long time," McMillan said.

Zach Randolph's 15 points led the beleaguered Trail Blazers, who lost their fifth straight and seventh in eight games, and have yet to score 100 points this season.

Mavericks 84, Pacers 75

Dirk Nowitzki had 31 points and 11 rebounds, and Dallas pulled away in the closing minutes at Indianapolis.

Jermaine O'Neal had 25 points and 13 rebounds for the Pacers, who looked tired playing their first game at home after a five-game trip out west.

Cavaliers 102, Kings 97

LeBron James scored 11 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter, adding six rebounds and six assists as he carried Cleveland through the tense final minutes of a victory in Sacramento.

Larry Hughes scored 24 points for the Cavaliers, who snapped a nine-game losing streak against the Kings with their first victory in seven trips to Arco Arena since March 19, 1998.
