In Orlando, Vince Carter had 32 points and grabbed seven rebounds sparking the New Jersey Nets to a 96-85 victory over the Magic, extending their win streak to four games.

In Boston, Paul Pierce scored 30 points and Ricky Davis chipped in with 20 as the Celtics downed the Utah Jazz 101-89 to record back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

In Memphis, Pau Gasol scored 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Grizzlies trimmed the Portland Trail Blazers, 89-79.

In Denver, the Washington got double-digit efforts from six players led by a 36-point, 11-assist performance from Gilbert Arenas lifting the Wizards to a 116-110 win over the Nuggets.
