Premier expects a 7% economic growth
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said in Beijing Friday that his government wants a seven percent economic growth for 2004. The target is set for a "stable and rapid economic growth without drastic fluctuations", according to the government work report made available to press prior to the opening of the Second Session of the 10th National People's Congress, the top legislature. China registered a stunning economic growth of 9.1 percent in 2003. |
