Draft of G-4 to undermine UN reform process: FM

The draft resolution circulated by four countries on UN Security Council expansion will "undermine the reform process of the United Nations," said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan here Tuesday.

Germany, Japan, Brazil and India on Monday circulated a draft resolution, proposing to give the four permanent seats in the council along with two African countries.

Kong said the move will "intensify contradictions" at a regularpress conference.
