"Like yesterday's match (China won over Angola 62-61), we played good defense, but not very good offense," he said. "We should play more aggressively in the zone."

Lithuania head coach Chomicius Valdemaras was delighted with his side's second straight victory at the six-team tournament.

"China fought very hard towards the end of the game and they had a chance to win," Valdemaras added. "We became a little bit relaxed after we led by 10 points in the fourth quarter and did not play like a game, which allowed China get back into the game."

Martynas led Lithuania, 82-73 winner over Puerto Rico on Tuesday, with 17 points.

Olympic champion Argentina continued to show its superiority in the sport as the South Americans trounced African champion Angola 83-64 for a second big-margin victory in a row.

Angola made it close early in the game, trailing 44-42 at the half time. However, the Argentines, 88-57 winners over Australia on Tuesday, used a 24-4 run connecting the third and fourth quarter to store an unshakable 78-53 lead.

Argentina, who shot 31-for-52 from the field, enjoyed a balanced offense with seven players contributing eight or more points.

In Wednesday's last game, Australia beat Puerto Rico 106-78 for its first victory in the round-robin tournament. Puerto Rico and Angola have both lost two in a row.

The teams will have a rest day on Thursday.
