Commerce Minister Chen Deming confirmed Thursday that Beijing would conduct a preliminary dumping investigation of US auto imports. The probe would be "objective, just and fair," said Chen when attending the 20th session of the China-US Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade in Hangzhou. It could lead to higher import duties for the US big 3 automakers, industry experts said. |
