The 2016 Anufood China, one of the largest food industry events in North China, will be held from Nov 16 to 18 at the New China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.

Organized by the China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce and Germany's renowned exhibition company Koelnmesse, this year's event also includes the 5th China International Catering and Food Expo as well as the Chinese World Cuisine Championship 2016 by the China Cuisine Association, strategic partner of Anufood China.

The China International Meat Conference and the China International Dairy Industry Conference and Imported Food Sub-forum will be held during the exhibition, offering key food promotion agencies a chance to share the latest industry trends and ideas on channel development.

This year, the display area will grow by nearly 23 percent, to reach 27,000 square meters compared with last year's event. The expo and related activities will take up more than 33,000 square meters.

More than 700 exhibitors are expected, including overseas companies and agencies from more than 36 countries and regions, such as Germany, Spain, Argentina, New Zealand, Poland and Turkey.

As the first partner country of Anufood China, Poland has taken up an area of more than 300 square meters, and has booked what it says is the largest contingent of exhibitors the country has ever brought to such an event in China.
