Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping visited InterContinental Beijing Beichen on 21 July 2008 to inspect preparatory work for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games'main receiving venue. Xi was warmly welcomed by Mr. Andreas Pfister, general manager of InterContinental Beijing Beichen upon his arrival. And he highly praised the effort that InterContinental Beijing Beichen made to make the hotel qualified for Olympics'events.

 

InterContinental Beijing Beichen is the main receiving venue for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, located in Olympic Development Zone, next to the new National Convention Centre and within walking distance to MPC and IBC.
