A museum in Eastern China's Suzhou city was established to showcase some exquisite bronze mirrors that date back over 2000 years.

This bronze mirror is from the Han Dynasty in the 11th Century. Surprisingly, you can hardly spot any rust stains. Bronze mirrors are usually circular, with one side polished as a mirror and the other side reserved for intricate designs.

Fu Qianqian, Museum Staff Member, said, "There are many historical figures on the back of this mirror, including the Emperors of Wu and Yue Kingdom, who are sitting in a tent and Wu Zixu, the royal military general leaning against his sword. The information is very rich and is of great historical significance."

The rarity of such bronze mirrors has been verified by archeologists. Only a museum in Shanghai has seen such exquisite collections. The newly established museum of Eastern Wu kingdom is home to about one thousand bronze mirrors, some of which are decorated with gold. The museum will soon be open to the public.
