CPIC (China Pacific Insurance Group), Yunnan Branch has donated one million yuan to build a library for Longchuan No.2 middle school, Dehong at a donation ceremony on November 26.

“This is a significant day for Longchuan No.2 middle school. Our long-held dream will come true thanks to the CPIC one million yuan donation”, said Li Zhenghuan, mayor of Longchuan county, at the ceremony, “ I hope the faculty and students will work harder, and I guarantee that the fund will be made full use of to maximize the social benefit.”

CPIC has always aimed to be a socially responsible corporation. While pursuing sustained growth, the CPIC, as a corporate citizen, has dedicated itself to public welfare. So far it has donated 8.5 million yuan and has helped build 24 Hope Primary Schools in Yunnan province.
