The Department of Macroeconomic Research of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) hosted a work conference on Jan 21.
2016 is not only the first year of the 13th Five-Year Plan, but also a challenging year for supply-side structural reform. China has entered a critical period of transformation and upgrading, and has to face a complicated economic situation. Thus, the conference aims to gain a better understanding of macroeconomic work in different provinces and cities and precisely implement central decisions.
Directors of macro-economy research departments from Jiangsu, Liaoning, Guangdong, Chongqing, Shanxi, Anhui, Henan and Hebei addressed at the conference on their work, problems and solutions.
Wang Yiming, Vice-President of the DRC, Yu Bin, Director-General of both General Office and Department of Macroeconomic Research attended the conference and gave speeches. All the DRC’s research team members of macro-economic analysis were present.
