Xiamen University (XMU) will issue alumni cards to be distributed to its alumni worldwide in batches, www.nhaidu.com reported on May 27.

Any alumni holding the card can enter or leave the campus freely, dine or make purchases on campus as students at XMU.

Founded in 1921, XMU currently has 73 alumni associations worldwide, and the number of its alumni surpasses 200,000.

According to the report, only those who graduated before 2010 have to apply for the alumni cards, and for those who graduated after 2010, their student cards will automatically shift to alumni cards.

To apply for the alumni card, any alumni of XMU can send their student number or graduation certificate number with a color photo to alumnixm@xmu.edu.cn and leave their contact information.
