Fifteen programs worth over four billion yuan were signed during the 2009 Huaqiao Autumn Business Investment & Negotiation Fair, which was held in the Saige Electronic Square at the east Jiangsu province's Huaqiao International Service Business Park on October 16.

Shen Huafei, vice director of the managing committee of the Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, exchanged the contract texts with the related entities. According to the contracts, Capgemini will move its China headquarters from Shanghai to Huaqiao and establish a service outsourcing company and financial outsourcing center here.

And the Taiwan National Federation of Industries will build Taiwan Commodity City in Huaqiao together with the Huaqiao Economic Development Zone.

A MOU on Cooperation was also signed between the Nanjing branch of Export-Import Bank of China and the managing committee of the Huaqiao Economic Development Zone.

Shandong’s Tianwang Group and Jiangsu Expressway Company Limited also signed investment plans for constructing respective projects with Shen.

On the same day, 46 other developments broke ground, whose worth accounted to over six billion yuan. The most talked about was the ground-breaking of Alibaba Electronic Commerce Mansion with acreage of 80 square meters, which is able to provide all-around services for online businesses including electronic commerce, product expo and financing.
