Li Hongzhong, Secretary of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee
Li Hongzhong, male, Han ethnic group, was born in the Changle county of the Shandong province in August of 1956. He joined Communist Party of China (CPC) in December 1976, and started to work in August 1975. He graduated from Jilin University with a degree in history. He is also an economic engineer.
Aug 1975- Feb 1978, Li Hongzhong graduated from middle school and went to the suburb of Shenyang city, Liaoning province, where he became the commander of the people’s militia, the security officer, the secretary of the Youth League and vice chairman of the revolutionary committee.
Feb 1978 - Feb 1982, Majored in History at the Jilin University.
Feb 1982 - Aug 1984, Became a cardre of the secretariat of General Office in the Shenyang municipal government.
Aug 1984 – April 1985, Deputy director of document management in the Shenyang municipal government.
April 1985 - June 1985, Secretary of the general office in the Liaoning provincial Party committee.
June 1985 - Sept 1987, Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics Industry (specifically regarded as at the deputy county level in July 1986).
Sept 1987- Nov 1988, Secretary of the Party group in the Ministry of Electronics Industry (county level).
Nov 1988 - Dec 1995, Vice mayor of Huizhou in Guangdong province and leading member of municipal Party group on secondment (regarded as at the deputy city level in October 1991).
Dec 1995 - April 1996, Acting mayor of Huizhou city in the Guangdong province and secretary of the municipal leading Party group.
April 1996 - March 2000, Deputy secretary of the Huizhou municipal Party committee. He was also the mayor and secretary of the municipal leading Party group. From Sept 1996 to July 1997, he studied in a one year training class at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee and attended the Harvard Kennedy School in July of 1999.
March 2000 - Feb 2001, Secretary of the Huizhou municipal Party committee.

June 2005 – Nov 2007, Member of the standing committee for the Guangdong provincial Party committee, secretary of Shenzhen municipal Party committee, director of Shenzhen municipal people's congress, secretary of leading party group and first secretary of the Party committee of Shenzhen garrison.
Nov 2007 - Dec 2007, Deputy secretary of the Hubei provincial Party committee and director of the Shenzhen municipal people's congress.
Dec 2007- Jan 2008, Deputy secretary of the Hubei provincial Party committee and acting governor of Hubei province.
Jan 2008 – Dec 2010, Deputy secretary of the Hubei provincial Party committee, governor of the Hubei province and secretary of the leading Party group of the Hubei provincial government.

Feb 2011 – present, Secretary of the Hubei provincial Party committee and director of the Hubei provincial people's congress. He is an alternate member of the 16th and 17th Central Committee, and representative to the 9th, 10th and 11th National People's Congress.
Wang Guosheng, Governor of Hubei Province
Wang Guosheng, male, was born in May 1956 in the Dong'e county, Shandong province. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in June 1975 and started to work in March 1974. He has a Master’s degree from the postgraduate classes at the Shandong provincial Party school, majoring in politics. Currently he is an alternate member of the 17th Central Committee, the deputy secretary of Hubei provincial Party committee and the governor of Hubei province.
1974.03-1976.11 He was a graduate of the Daqiao commune in Dong’e county, Shandong province and the acting secretary of the Youth League.
1976.11-1981.09 Worked in the office of the research and publicity department of the Liaocheng municipal Party committee. He also worked in the cultural and education bureau of the Dong’e county. 1981.09-1983.07 Majored in political science at the Social Science School of Shandong University.
July 1983 - May 1985, Member of institutional reform team in the Guan county, Shandong province and the secretary of Liaocheng municipal Party committee.
May 1985 - Oct 1991, Director of the organization department for the Liaocheng municipal Party committee and was chief of the cadre section. From January 1990 to October 1991 acted as office director of the senior citizens’ committee for Liaocheng city.
Oct 1991 - Feb 1995, Member of Liaocheng municipal Party committee in Shandong province, director of organization department, secretary of Gaotang county Party committee and deputy secretary of the prefectural Party committee.
