A new love film The Commune of Romance, or The Love Story of Kunqu Opera, hosted a launching ceremony in Kunshan city, Jiangsu province, on Dec 18. It is scheduled to hit screens on May 20, 2015, Kunshan Daily reported.

The movie will be themed on Kunqu opera and will shoot mostly in Kunshan and Shanghai. Kunshan's Bacheng town, as the home of Kunqu opera, became the first stop for the movie.

The modern humorous love film stars many famous actors and actresses, such as Jo Jiang, who starred in Tiny Times 1, and Zhou Weitong, a well-known model and actress.
