To reduce the cost in finding jobs, a total of 219 needy graduates will get 1,000 yuan ($161) per capita thanks to a job-hunting subsidy distributed by the government before March, according to the Wuxi municipal human resources and social security bureau.

Because most graduates prefer to find jobs in East China, the subsidy can meet travel fees and other costs.

Since 2013, a total of 384 graduates in Wuxi have received the subsidy.
