The city of Changchun, Jilin province had great success with its forest marathon that got off to a rousing start at the city's Jingyuetan National Forest Park, on June 13, with about 6,000 participants from China, Sweden, Germany, Australia, Kenya, and elsewhere, all of whom had great fun. The event also marks the opening of this year's summer fun festival which lasts four months.
