10th CNEA Expo hits a record in business volume

When the 10th China-Northeast Asia (CNEA) Expo came to a close at the Changchun International Conference Center, in the city of Changchun, Jilin province, on Sept 6, there was a press conference to report the immediate results of the 6-day event, which had more than 100,000 exhibitors and visitors and more than $800-million worth of trade.

More than 10,000 of the exhibitors and visitors came from at least 100 countries, in Northeast Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa and Southeast Asia, accompanied by at least 100 high-ranking officials from China and overseas.

The expo attracted 250 senior executives from Chinese branches of Top-500 companies and multinationals, along with 96 senior managers from top Chinese companies and more than 100 financial institutions and agencies.

There were also 325 contracts of investment 220.1 billion yuan ($34.58 billion) signed and the domestic trade volume amounted to 2.3 billion yuan.
