A boom in tourism development in Dandong is expected to start as the first China-DPRK Economic, Trade, Culture and Tourism Expo comes to an end.

A DPRK delegation visited scenic spots in Dandong such as Fenghuang Mountain, Dalishu, He Kou, the Hushan Great Wall and Yalu River Broken Bridge during the expo. The visits provided the delegation with a deep impression of Dandong's beautiful landscapes, Yalu River Evening News reported.

Travel agencies in Dandong and the DPRK reached several cooperation agreements.

Both sides agreed to joint exploration and development of tourism products and travel routes. They also discussed landing tours and other projects in detail.

Tourism cooperation between Dandong and the DPRK will optimize the tourism environment in the DPRK, simplify procedures, and strengthen ties between the two sides.
