Qi Xinmin bird and flower paintings on display in Shandong
A national tour exhibition of Qi Xinmin Bird and Flower Paintings opened at the Shandong Art Gallery in Jinan on Oct 15.
The exhibition, which was hosted in Beijing, Chengdu, Shenzhen and Hangzhou successively, displays 130 of Qi's works featuring birds and flowers. The exhibition in Jinan will last until Oct 29.
Qi Xinmin, born in Zibo of Shandong in 1935, is an artist specializing in bird and flower paintings. His works have won many prizes at national painting competitions and were bought and exhibited by some art museums. Qi also donated his six works to the Shandong Art Gallery's permanent collection.
