Collecting & Distributing System Planning

Updated: 2012-09-18

The shipping mainline would start from Nangang Road to Nanjiang Bridge. Nangang Road connects Tianjin South Port to Tanggu urban areas.

As eastern berths are constructed, Nangang Road stretches east and forms shipping artery for northern coastlines and run through the Port from east to west; Nanguang Er Road and Nanjiang Road Er Qiao to form second east-west shipping artery in Tianjin South Port; so access to roads have been constructed in the west, middle and east of the Port.

In Tianjin South Port, railways connect Jigang Railways and Shenhua Railways as two connecting lines in and out of the Port as well as having two sets of independent railway systems for car parking and Gangqian Station.

Yard 1# (two yards of double-lifting coal tippler system, with unloading capacity of 20 million tons), yard VI to eastern estuary of transverse dike (newly established eight yards of double-lifting coal tippler system with unloading capacity of 90 million tons) would connect railway network on northern channel; based on yard III (four yards of double-lifting coal tippler system) to increase up to seven sets of double-lifting coal tipplers (with unloading capacity of 90 million tons), forming a railway network to southern channel.

The railway network includes three yards of tippler system under construction, with coal unloading capacity of 200 million tons. Loading lines for minerals and petrochemicals would get established accordingly.

Tianjin South Port established two conveyor systems: one from Tianjin South Port Bulk Cargo Logistics Center to S6# berth, and the other from S9#-S10# berths.

Annual conveying capacity is 35 million tons. Pipelines have been applied along both sides of roads in the zone.
