Are tablets the future in class?

You don't need an iPad to teach reading, writing and mathematics. You don't need a $10,000 "smart board" to illustrate things to a classroom. Have technology-focused classes teach the use of such things by all means, but don't equip all classes with the latest technology and expect the device to do the teaching!
