Guo Jijiang, born in 1971, worked as folk art designer, interior designer, bar owner and director for a local newspaper before he joined the Southern Metropolitan News in 2003. Currently, as a senior photographer, he is the chief photographer for Southern Metropolitan News in Foshan, South China's Guangdong Province. His photos are mainly about the lives of the common people in the Pearl River Delta, one of the most economically dynamic regions in China. The following pictures were taken between 2002 and 2006.
