Huangguoshu Waterfall falls short of water
Huangguoshu Waterfall, also known as Yellow Fruit Waterfall, the largest waterfall in China and all of Asia is seen in this picture taken in Anshun, Guizhou province, on March 21, 2010. The waterfall is facing the worst water scarcity in its history as the city is hit by a severe drought that has made over 90 percent of the river and reservoir dry up. To balance the water use at the scenic spot and to fight the drought, Huangguoshu reservoir stores the water at night and releases it during the day. [Photo/Xinhua]
