3D newspaper? Only on ad pages

A woman wearing a pair of cardboard viewing glasses reads Tuesday's 3D Anhui Business News, in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province, June 1, 2010. Only the ad photos in Tuesday's special issue were given a three-dimensional effect, while the text remained the same. Readers could see through the viewing glasses an animated image by holding the paper 50cm (20in) away for about 5 seconds. China's first 3D newspaper, Shiyan Evening News, debuted on April 16, and Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure issued the world's first 3D edition paper on March 9 this year. [Photo/CFP]
