Joint emergency drill held at sea near China's Qingdao

Rescuers are seen engaged in a life-saving mission on vessels during a large joint maritime rescue drill held in the sea area near Port of Qingdao in East China's Shandong province on July 27, 2010. The drill, held by the North Sea Fleet, Qingdao Army Equipment Support Base, Qingdao 401 Hospital, Shandong Provincial Maritime Affair, Beihai Rescue Bureau and Beihai No 1 Rescue Flying Squad, involved 12 fleets, 2 helicopters and 5 emergency teams with nearly 800 staff members.
