Liu Qi (R), CPC Beijing committee secretary, and Hein Verbruggen (L), chairman of SportAccord International Sports Federations, hit the gong to mark the start of first SportAccord Combat Games in Beijing on August 28, 2010. The Combat Games will be held from August 28 to September 4, with around 1,600 athletes from 60 countries competing in 13 sports.
