Covering an area of 578,000 hectares, Moerdaoga National Forest Park is the biggest of its kind in China. Legend has it that about 800 years ago, Genghis Khan, inspired by the spectacular view here, shouted out his wish to integrate the tribes - "Moerdaoga," which means "set out for the battle on your horses" in Mongolian.
