Jun Zi became paralyzed for unknown reasons not long after he was born. The 35-year-old attended school for only one day and dropped out because he couldn’t bear the derision and mockery of his classmates. He tried different things but always made time to improve his singing skills. Since August 2005, he has been touring around China, holding charity concerts in 62 cities, raising funds for 213 disabled children and poor university students. Jun Zi is planning a concert on Dec 3 in Hangzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province, on International Day of Disabled Persons.
