Loving minds think alike

Twin nurses Liu Min (L) and Liu Qing hook up an IV to a patient at a medical center on a construction site for the Qinghai-Tibet AC/DC power interconnection project in Kunlun Mountains in Southwest China's Qinghai province, April 6, 2011. The 24-year-old twin sisters from Xinyu in East China's Jiangxi province carry their nursing equipment along with the workers to the rugged project site last August, attending to those suffering altitude sickness and other minor diseases. The two normally work separately, with the slightly older sister working at the 4,000-meter-high Xidatan construction site, which is more than 100 kilometers away from the younger twin. April 6 is the twins' birthday, so their bosses arranged a special reunion for them to work together. The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year, but neither of them expresses a wish to return home. "We are willing to join the services in Yushu, and to see more different scenery (of the Plateau)." [Photo/Xinhua]
