Massive delays strike troubled train crash line

Rail workers try to appease passengers waiting at Wenzhou South Railway Station in East China's Zhejiang province, August 1, 2011. A large number of bullet trains have been delayed or forced to wait on the tracks between Wenzhou, Ningbo (Zhejiang province) and Fuzhou of Fujian province on August 1. Eleven bullets trains had been delayed for nearly two hours as of 8 pm Monday. Others were delayed up to four hours which rail authorities say is due to "temporary equipment maintenance". The Ningbo-Wenzhou rail line is the site of the fatal bullet train crash that killed at least 40 passengers on July 23. The operation depot of Ningbo section added that more maintenance may be conducted again in the coming few days. [Photo/CFP]
