Chinese ethnic costumes to be exhibited in US

A group of 48 Chinese performers will bring a showcase of costumes, dances, singing and music of ethnicity of China to the US on Nov 7.

This is the second time "Colorful China", the Chinese ethnic costume exhibition and artistic performance troupe, will play in the US.

The tour will last two weeks bringing performances to families, schools, theaters and communities in the US.

The program will present the 56 ethnic groups of China, with spectacular costumes of bright colors, unique and sophisticated styles, and deep cultural meanings. Dances and music will also be shown, highlighting the beauty of each ethnic group.

The show will be free to the public. The showcase is organized by The State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the Ministry of Culture of China, together with World Artists Experiences (WAE).
