A 23-year postponed reunion in S China

Cheng was abducted 23 years ago at the age of four from his hometown Jia county in Henan province. He was sold to a household in the Labao town of Liuzhou at a price of 3,000 yuan. After his foster parents recently told him the truth, he worked with the Liuzhou police, who contacted three families in his hometown that reported a missing child in 1988, and set a paternity tests for Dec 17. The DNA results showed that Cheng is the son of Ding Chucai and Lian Huazhen, and his real name is Ding Sheng. [Photo/CFP]
