'Underwater Great Wall' emerges from reservoir

Part of the "Underwater Great Wall" in Kuancheng county of Hebei province is seen in this picture taken on May 23, 2012. In 1975, the government built Panjiakou Reservoir in Kuancheng county, therefore water inundated a section of the Great Wall there. Because of drought and the increase in the use of water, water level in Panjiakou Reservoir fell more than 10 meters and part of the "Underwater Great Wall" emerges. [Photo/Xinhua]
