Kind-hearted Brit sells home to feed homeless

A British man identified only as Tony hands baozi, steamed stuffed buns, and soup to homeless people in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, June 27, 2012. Tony hands out free dinners at 6 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon every week. The 46-year-old established three companies after retiring as an electronics engineer from British Royal Navy. In 2002, he decided to sell his company, house and car to leave Britain to travel around the world. Tony set up the Yellow River Soup Kitchen in Xi'an in 2005, targeting people in need and providing a platform to those who want to help others. In the past seven years, Tony has spent more than 700,000 yuan ($8,956) on the charity kitchen in Xi'an with the help of thousands of volunteers. [Photo/CFP]
