Two houses in C China hit by rocket debris

Yang Weihan, from Watang village, Shaoyang city, Central China's Hunan province, shows fallen rocket debris that damaged his house in the early morning of Dec 2. At 1:30 am, the Long March-3B carrier rocket carrying Chang’e-3 lunar probe blast off from Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Southwest China's Sichuan province. About eight minutes later, the cast-off first-stage rocket hit the house, caving the roof in and rupturing four pillars. Yang was compensated 10,800 yuan ($1,772) for the damage. [Photo/icpress.cn]
