Phoenix trees, or Chinese parasol tree, are decorated with silks and satins in Baohe District of Hefei city, East China's Anhui province, June 20, 2011. The local government used 4,000 meters of silks and satins to create a "red" street to celebrate the upcoming 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China on July 1, People's Daily reported. The decoration will be torn down after July 2. [Photo/people.com.cn] |
