Dalian News has quoted the local railway authorities as saying that trains from the Dalian Railway Station and the Dalian North Railway Station handled an average of 10,000 passengers daily during the Spring Festival travel rush that is going to last about a month and a half. The Harbin-Dalian high-speed line was expected to carry 30 percent of the local passenger load during the period.
