The organizing committee of the Milan expo and managers of the Chinese Pavilion will attend. Representatives from the Chinese Consulate and leaders of Shandong province will deliver speeches. Attendees will also include representatives from other pavilions in the expo, Le Marche, Italy, 12 cities from Shandong and enterprises of both countries. The opening ceremony will start with a celebration to mark Shandong's 100-year relationship with the world expo and a local play.
Reception Banquet

All guests that attended the opening ceremony and more entrepreneurs from China and Italy are invited. Representatives from the Shandong enterprises that attended the 1915 Panama Expo and those currently investing in Italy will talk face-to-face with Italian guests.
Economic cooperation seminar and fair for Shandong and Italian enterprises
Sept 16, 2 to 5 pm
Conference Center, Milan Expo Park
A delegation of more than 150 Shandong enterprises and their societies will talk with Italian counterparts on economic cooperation in agriculture, daily consumption, food, textiles, electronics, porcelain and others fields. They will mutually introduce produce and sign contracts if possible.

Italian, German, Dutch and ROK national pavilions
The Shandong delegation will visit the above national pavilions and talk with peers on possible cooperation, as well as learn from their experiences of attending the expo.

Cultural performances

Performance stage outside the Chinese Pavilion
A series of performances of local dances, music and plays, featuring the unique culture of the province. Performers offer something new each day to entertain and educate visitors about the province's culture.
Nonmaterial heritage performance

Chinese Pavilion
Inheritors of Shandong nonmaterial cultural heritages, including Gaomi paper cutting, Hanting kite making, wooden drawing in Yangjiafu docklands, flour sculptures from Weicheng and gourd sculptures from Shouguang, will display their arts and handicraft.
