The "5G + smart city smart pole" exhibition group is taking part for the third time in the 23rd China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), which kicked off in Shenzhen, Guangdong province on Dec 27.

The smart pole is a representative product of new 5G infrastructure and a new-type information communication infrastructure that integrates 5G communication, wireless communication, smart lighting, video surveillance, traffic management, environmental monitoring, information interaction and urban public services.

The smart pole management system can reduce costs and increase the efficiency of a city's overall operations.

The exhibition group, organized by the Shenzhen Smart Pole Industry Promotion Association, brings a number of enterprises to showcase the achievements of smart pole management systems and the technological applications for future cities.

Shenzhen Haineng Communications is displaying its independently developed smart pole and management platform at the CHTF. Besides the common functions like wireless communication, smart lighting, LED display, environmental monitoring, video surveillance, charging, and information interaction, the smart pole is also equipped with features that automatically spray and eliminate pollution.

Shenzhen Minkave Technology also brought its smart pole whole process solution to this year's CHTF. It is showcasing a number of scene applications like non-inductive payment and intelligent UAVs on-site at the event.
