Germany's Ammermueller to drive third Red Bull

Germany's Michael Ammermueller will drive Red Bull Racing's third car in Friday practice at the Chinese and Japanese Grands Prix, the Formula One team said on Wednesday.

Ammermueller, 20, replaces Dutchman Robert Doornbos, who has moved up to the race drive after the early departure of Austrian Christian Klien.

The German competed in the GP2 feeder series this season, winning at the opening round in Valencia.
