Yao Ming had 20 points and six rebounds as the Houston Rockets lost to the San Antonio Spurs 92-84 at home.

Tracy McGrady scored a team high score of 26 points but failed to save the Rockets from the defeat.

Spurs' three-time MVP Tim Duncan led four of his fellow teammates to reach double figures.

Duncan and Manu Ginobili contributed 19 points apiece for San Antonio's fifth straight victory in the new season.

Francisco Elson added 12 points, with Beno Udrih and Robert Horry scored 11 and ten respectively.
